Area 15 Regional Planning Commission is an active player in regional transportation planning.  We partner with the Iowa Department of Transportation annually to deliver federal and state transportation funds for projects involving roads, bridges, trails, transit, and general transportation planning. 

 

We work locally with city and county engineers, transit providers, elected officials, and more to address transportation needs in Southeast Iowa.  Other activities include strategic planning, project development, grant writing, and implementation.  These activities are carried out and implemented through committees and programs through the Regional Planning Affiliation 15 (RPA 15).
